My new life in Manchester!

I've been very busy moving down to Manchester and starting my new job working as a Senior Search Executive with Mediavest.

Its been a great two weeks however and I'm really looking forward to the challenge of working agency side for the first time.

On a different note it appears that Neil Lennon will indeed be the manager come the new season.

Hopefully they will also give him a decent amount of transfer money to ensure that he can bring in some new players.

The chance is there for him regardless to make his mark by getting the team to get the basics right and to try and ensure that there is much more consistency in the performances from all the of players.

I wish him well and I look forward to seeing how things will unfold during the summer.and at the beginning of the season.

Henrik Larsson.....? Could he be our own Pep Guardiola

I wonder whether that perhaps like Lennon that Henrik is still a little bit too young for the role.

On the other hand one could look to Barcelona and the success of Pep Guardiola has had there despite his inexperience as a coach.

Maybe?

Who will be in charge of Celtic next season?

Based on the link from the BBC Sport website below the decision regarding Neil Lennon and his position in the caretaker role as Celtic manager should be made in the next few days.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8662115.stm

Whether he will be given the chance to continue in the role of being the Celtic manager is still very much up for debate.

Perhaps more important than whether he stays or not is how much money we are wiling to invest in new players for the new season.

Maybe a new manager who will probably cost Celtic millions of pounds is not the answer if the money can be better spent on players instead.$

What we do need is an answer sooner rather than later regarding who will be the manager - let's hope that is something that will happen before the week is out.

Web Analytics - Great New Book

I've recently bought and started reading a book by Avinash Kaushik called Web Analytics 2.0.

Its bang up to date and considering the subject very matter it is also very easy to read. Furthermore the book in my view provides some excellent insights and analysis of the latest trends in the world of web analytics.

I would strongly recommend it to anyone working in the digital field to seek it out and give it a try.

I've copied a link below to help people find it.
